In 1976, Wade Treadway began his long and distinguished career in real estate related endeavors: first as the owner of design/build/restoration firm specializing in mid 18th Century structures with projects throughout New England and as the creator and producer of the television show, "America: Open House", developed for National Public Television. In 1996, Wade's interest in real estate transitioned to the brokerage business when he established the Woodstock office for one of New England's top real estate companies. In addition to residential real estate, he has extensive experience in timberland investment properties and real estate consulting and planning. Wade's commitment to community is well documented with 12 years on the Woodstock Planning Commission and its Chair for 2 years, 10 years as a Trustee of the Woodstock Historical Society and as its President for 4 years, past Director of the Woodstock Endowment Foundation and Trustee of the American Clock and Watch Museum. In addition to raising 4 children in the Woodstock area, Wade's personal interests include fly fishing and backpacking and he is an avid antiquarian and historian.
