Bill began his real estate career in Kalamazoo in 1997 in Michigan. After working there for a year, he and his wife, Lori, decided to move to the Tri-Cities to be closer to family. Being relatively new to the Tri-Cities, Bill focused on learning the neighborhoods, schools and employers in our area. His persistence and determination have given him extensive knowledge about all aspects of residential real estate and this knowledge can help you streamline the process of home buying and selling. Bill's discipline and work ethic has brought him much success as a consistently high producing agent. Bill has also served on the Board of Directors of the Tri-City Association of Realtors from 2003-2009. In 2008, Bill was elected President of the association and today he still serves on the Grievance Committee which helps enforce the Realtor Code of Ethics with the membership. Bill has master's degrees in both Business Administration and Social Work from Western Michigan University. He has a great deal of experience in both sales and social work. This combination has proved to be very handy in the real estate profession as buying or selling a home can be one of life's most stressful times. Bill's training, experience and education have taught him that clear, frequent, accurate and concise communication with clients, mortgage lenders, escrow agents, home inspectors and others involved in the transaction can go a long way to decreasing stress for all involved. He will bring the same skill set to your transaction as well. In his spare time, Bill loves to play tennis and plays competitively on several men's teams every year. Bill has also coached youth basketball for several years. Bill's wife, Lori, is a teacher in the Richland Public schools and His son, Trent, is a college student at Linfield College and a graduate of Richland High School. Bill understands the importance of helping to develop young people to their potential. He also understands the available resources here to assist with that development. Finally, if Bill does not know something, he will tell you and not guess. He will then go out, do the research and get back to you.
