In 2015, Marjorie Galen achieved the highest average sales price in the river town communities of Rockland County, and ranked fourth in sales volume. Marjorie, a Rockland resident for more than 20 years, raised her two children in the Snedens Landing neighborhood of Palisades. She brings financial acumen acquired through work in the music business and a creative eye from her work as a published craft book author and photographer. Currently living in her third 19th century house in Snedens Landing, Marjorie combines her love of the Hudson Valley's historic houses with a keen interest in modern architecture, art and furnishings. She is enthusiastic about each house's unique details, and loves the process of matching a family with a property. She is very involved in the community through her work, hobbies, involvement in local politics and as a trustee of the Palisades Free Library, and through her children, now college students at Columbia University and Brown University, who attended the South Orangetown public schools.
