This Colonial cottage brings back the summers of yesteryear. Built in the 1920’s as a seaside retreat, this old style cottage calls for a comfortable, casual and relaxing vacation. Bathing suits, tennis racquets and beach toys can be envisioned as being welcome additions to the décor. Built to take advantage of the prime location adjacent to the Menauhant Yacht Club, most rooms offer expansive water views of Eel Pond, Washburn Island and Vineyard Sound. The common rooms are spacious for large gatherings, preparing meals or just relaxing. The covered porch spans across the front of the home where one can enjoy a tennis match, the boats sailing by or sit in a rocker and catch the warm summer breezes. The house has five second floor bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Queen, 1 Twin, 1 Full, 3 Twins). There is also a Twin in the old maids' quarters on the first floor. Sleeps 10. Menauhant Public Beach is walking distance or you may choose to join the Menauhant Yacht Club.
Old King’s Highway is a historic corridor that parallels Cape Cod Bay. The four-century history of Cape Cod can be pegged along its route, from cemetery plots dating back to the 1600s and sea captain mansions from the 1800s to contemporary cafes and clam shacks.Подробная информация о роскошных домах: Cape Cod
