Rachel Wood began her career in real estate in 1986 working with several conversion and development projects in Greenwich Village. She fell in love with the diverse neighborhoods of New York and decided to stay and develop her expertise in New York's unique condominium and cooperative market, joining Sotheby's International Realty in 2003. In that time, Rachel has developed a philosophy that a home should bring harmony and serenity to its owners.
Rachel believes that buying or selling a home is an emotional experience. She prides herself on helping her clients by remaining calm and clearheaded. Rachel has been praised for honesty and straightforwardness. Her approachability and personal attention to detail keep the sales process on track for a smooth closing.
Born and raised in Texas, Rachel adopted New York City as her home. After graduating college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Rachel moved north to experience New York's rich cultural life while still holding onto her Southern charm. That charm combined with her two decades of experience in sales, development and property management makes Rachel well suited to guide her clients through the myriad twists and turns of buying and selling.
Rachel is an active member of REBNY and a dedicated volunteer for Miracle House.
