Steve Dawson brings his enthusiasm and passion for real estate to every transaction. Steve's background in marketing and public relations gives him a unique perspective on the real estate market, which he uses to create an individualized plan of action for each client to achieve their real estate goals.

Steve strongly believes that each client should be represented by someone who is knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know them and understand what they are looking for. He analyzes current market conditions to see how individual factors will affect the New York market so he can better advise clients.

Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Steve was a salesperson at The Corcoran Group, working with a top broker on sales ranging from studios to $10+ million homes. He began his career in public relations, working with travel and economic development clients. As his interest in real estate grew, he secured a position at a top real estate public relations firm in New York, working on new development marketing and publicizing real estate development and marketing companies.

Steve received a BS in Communication Studies from Pace University in New York. He is currently enrolled in the Masters in Real Estate Development program at New York University. His passion for real estate started when he was young, growing up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where his mother successfully sold high-end real estate for over 20 years. He enjoys reading, music and exploring New York.

He is on the board of directors for the Stonewall Community Foundation and on the junior board of Urban Pathways.
