Mike Hulett and Jennifer Liu have been working together since 2004 and have sold in excess of $300M in real estate. They were former business partners and owners of the boutique River North brokerage firm, Atland Realty LLC. The firm was highly diverse operating in many aspects of Chicago real estate: all aspects of residential sales including new construction, buyers, and sellers; commercial sales and leasing; industrial sales; land acquisition; and multi-family investment. In 2008 Jennifer and Mike made the decision to join Jameson Sothebys and re-direct the team's focus to their core business specialty: residential sales. This includes individual buyers & sellers, multi-family investment properties, as well as builder representation and the development of new construction communities.
The result of this experience is a team highly focused on residential sales yet utilizing strategies and solutions learned in years of commercial, industrial, and investment sales. Very few agents can bring this level of experience and comprehensive industry knowledge to the table. Over the years we have worked with the most sophisticated builders, developers, and investors. The breadth of this exposure gives our clientele a distinct competitive advantage in nearly all aspects of the transaction.

They receive over 90% of their business by way of referral. This approach can only succeed by keeping the focus on the client. As much as they love the properties, exciting new listings, and the best architecture Chicago has to offer, their true passion is for the people they work with.
Beginning his formal real estate career in early 2000, Mike started as a Sales Agent for a nationwide developer. There he sold large residential projects in various locations around the country. Quickly realizing his love for the industry and need to expand his knowledge, he ventured into the brokerage community less than a year later. He continued to double his gross annual sales every year for the next four years. Initially focusing on individual buyers and sellers, he also expanded his knowledge base in new construction projects and commercial properties as his practice grew. He continues to represent many individual buyers, sellers, and investors. In addition, he focuses on land acquisition for builders and the sales and marketing of the teams varied developments. Mike currently sits on the Professional Standards Board for the Chicago Association of Realtors. He was recently presented the Huzenis Award for representing outstanding ethics and integrity in the industry. This is a blind vote by peers with only 1 recipient each year. To date, this stands out as his favorite career milestone. His annual sales consistently rank him in the top 10% of Chicago area agents.
Jennifer discovered her passion for real estate soon after completing a psychology degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She took a position as a leasing coordinator for a private property management company. Her interest and love for the industry grew rapidly from there. She ventured into the brokerage community just a few months later. Over the course of the next 7 years Jennifer worked diligently to learn the industry and expand her role in it. In the process she has represented dozens of individual buyers, sellers, and developers. Her professional network and expanding clientele grew and all her hard work eventually resulted in a Chicago Association of Realtors Top Producer award. To date she has received multiple Top Producer awards.
