Licensed in the state of Oregon. Ron grew up in the ranch country of southeastern Montana. He holds a degree in Agriculture from Montana State University where he was a member of the rodeo team. After graduation, Ron worked as a range conservationist for the Deschutes National Forest in Central Oregon before being ordered to active military duty. He then served in the US Air Force for 21 years, flying 300 combat missions as a fighter pilot in Vietnam before returning to the US to train other pilots for combat. He served in a variety of training, operational and command assignments in the US, Asia and Europe before retiring as a Colonel. After leaving the Air Force, Ron managed an aircraft services operation in Saudi Arabia before finally settling back in Central Oregon where he and his wife, Liz, started a registered Quarter Horse business. Ron shows his horses in Cow Cutting events around the US and Canada. In 2007, he and his horse, RD Bud Light, won a World Championship. Ron has been a top producing ranch broker for over 20 years. He has won numerous awards for sales production and was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. He is experienced in guiding buyers and sellers of rural properties through complex issues relating to the transaction.
