Their son, Erik, went on to become a member of the U.S. Ski Team and the name Schlopy became synonymous with Park City as Erik became a World Cup ski racer, a 3 time Olympian and a bronze medalist at the World Championships. Erik now lives in Park City with his wife, former Olympic medalist in swimming, Summer Sanders, and their family. Marny & Kent's daughter, Keri, also lives in Park City with her family and her husband, Kevin, who is a member of Team Schlopy. Marny feels so lucky to share the Park City lifestyle with her entire family!

Marny also believes in giving back to this fine community. She volunteers for the Luxury Home Tour run by the Board of Realtors® which benefits the Peace House every year. She is on the board for the Red, White and Snow event which, benefits the National Ability Center (NAC), a world renowned facility that enables adults and children with disabilities to enjoy sports.
