Barbara Rosenblum moved from New York City to Larchmont in 1980. She and her husband raised three children in the community, all of whom went to the local schools. During that time, Barbara served on the Executive Boards of the Larchmont Newcomers Club, Larchmont Temple Nursery School, Chatsworth AvePTA and the Hommocks Middle School PTA. She was chair of the Committee for Selection of School Board Nominees. She also held the position of Coordinator of Student Affairs at Mamaroneck High School for three years, and as such, oversaw student government and all clubs and activities.
