Forester Hagan Private Client Group, Maria is a real estate veteran known for representing a prestigious clientele from San Francisco and the Silicon Valley and south to Carmel-by-the-Sea. In 2012, she joined forces with Sotheby's International Realty to broaden her exposure to include the company's top-tier marketing and international network.

Maria's clientele includes buyers and sellers from affluent families based locally, nationally and internationally.

She is highly regarded for her discretion, as her practice includes both MLS transactions and private offerings. She has successfully handled real estate referrals for her clients in other regions such as Virginia, Massachusetts, Maine and New York.

Early in her career Maria ran the marketing and brokerage operations for a top-tier California-based luxury community developer. Her management and tenure in residential sales and marketing has resulted in over 1 billion in resort and estate home sales. She has closed transactions in the communities of Rancho Mirage, Pacific Palisades and San Juan Capistrano, as well as the San Francisco Bay neighborhoods of Woodside, Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Saratoga.

She holds a BFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA in creative writing from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Maria is a longstanding member of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. In her free time, she paints and writes. Maria is a dog lover who in her free time can be found hiking the Pacific Coast with her husband of 32 years and their two English labs, Sam and Libby.
