Deb Smith is originally from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania where she attended Wilson College for Business and Accounting. After raising two children, she moved to south Fort Myers in 1991 and shortly thereafter obtained her Florida Real Estate License. Sanibel Island was her dream place to be and in 1993 she began working on Sanibel. With a background in accounting, Deb is very detail oriented. She is continually updating her real estate knowledge and currently holds the Resort and Second Home Property Speciist designation, the Senior Real Estate Specialist designation and is currently working to achieve the Certified International Property Specialist designation.

Real estate decisions are serious decisions; they are composed of valuable financial resources, strategic thinking, emotions and quality of life factors. Buying a home is one of the largest and most significant purchases most people ever make. Deb prides herself on making each clients real estate experience a successful one in every aspecttransaction - from representation and negotiations, all the way through to a successful closing. Deb Smith is an active member of the Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce and in her spare time loves to travel. Her love for travel and knowledge has taken her throughout the United States, Spain, Italy, Germany and Africa.
