That pretty much sums up Gail Anthony's philosophy of real estate.A former student of Washington State and the University of Washington, Gail says that the most important parts of her job are listening, keeping up-to-date regarding current inventory and following-through on what she says she will do. "If you do all these things, you will gain the respect you need so people will trust you with what is most likely the largest purchase they ever make."Twenty-seven years ago, Gail found herself being a single mother with a child to support and put through college. "So I decided to try real estate not knowing if I would be successful or not." Caring, compassion and hard work helped propel Gail to the top of this highly competitive industry. In fact, Gail's genuine concern for attending to even the most minute needs of her clients has led to her being ranked in the top one percent of 700 real estate professionals companywide for over 18 years; in addition, for several years, she has been ranked number one companywide. Gail now partners with fellow agent Stacy Paluscio, and together they focus on the golf & gated communities of the North Scottsdale/Carefree area.Now a married mother of six grown children ("plus dog named Rex," she adds with a smile), Gail is also committed to helping people outside of the world of real estate. "I am involved in doing short-term mission trips such as going to Africa to help build an orphanage for children whose parents have died of AIDS, and supporting Neighborhood Ministries in the inner city."Gail says that in spite of her many accolades, that's not what she considers her most important professional accomplishment. "Awards and rankings are wonderful, of course, but honestly, I consider the most important measure of success to be the number of people who continue to do business with me again and again, as well as refer me to their families and friends."
