The family apple farm and ski resort in Michigan enabled Heidi Bintz to start skiing at the age of three. A graduate of Michigan State University, with a degree in Agricultural Economics, she worked at Merrill Lynch as a commodity and stockbroker. With a desire to live in the mountains Heidi moved to Vail in 1985 and became co-owner of Kenny's Double Diamond Ski Shop and founder of the Double Diamond Ski Clinic for women. After selling, Heidi pursued the Real Estate world. In Heidi's eight years as a realtor in Vail and Beaver Creek she has been awarded Top Producer five times with Fuller Sotheby's International Realty plus two significant sales worldwide. Heidi's awards and accolades undoubtedly demonstrate her authority on Vail Valley real estate. However, it's her enthusiasm, professionalism, negotiating skills, passion for the business and the valley she calls home that truly sets her apart. As a mother of two daughters the outdoors remains part of the family life. Having the Rocky Mountains as a setting for raising children is a joy to her. Heidi lives the mountain lifestyle in the Vail Valley and wants to share her knowledge and passion for the area.
