Every summer for nearly fifteen years, my family left the heat of Texas for the freshness and beauty of the San Juan Mountains. I have so many wonderful memories of hiking, camping, learning to fly fish and driving jeeps over the seemingly perilous mountain passes. I still remember Telluride in the early 1970's. Each summer we would drive over Black Bear pass and enjoy ice cream floats at the old Drug Store. Back in 1971, we could have bought the whole town for $599,000. By 1976, it would have cost us $5.8 million and property investment values have been climbing just as remarkably ever since.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1986 with a BBA in accounting after which I practiced accounting for five years and became a licensed CPA. I went back to the University of Texas for my MBA graduating with honors and specializing in finance. After six successful years in the marketing and development of nearly $1 billion in industrial real estate projects, I turned my attention back to the San Juan Mountains and the town of Telluride. Since 2002, I have been entirely focused on the residential real estate market in Telluride and now, finally, I make my home here.
I look forward to sharing with you my insights into the markets of Telluride and assisting you to get to know this beautiful valley and its spectacular mountain ranges. There is no place like Telluride to create a lifetime of memories for you and your family. Let's get started creating yours.
