Tom's real estate career really took off in 2004 when his knowledge of the local real estate market and people skills allowed him to participate in hundreds of buyer and seller transactions. He has consistently done so each year since. Tom is an avid golfer and horseman, and, as such, loves to help clients acquire or sell golf course or equestrian properties. Along with his strong real estate and financial background, he brings excellent negotiating skills that provide exceptional results in assisting his clients accomplish their real estate dreams and desires.
Tom earned his PhD in Finance from Wharton in 1980, and has taught real estate and finance at University of Nevada, University of Denver and UC-Denver. Tom earned his real estate license in 1998, is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), and has earned his Masters in Real Estate (MRE). Tom has been around the world in his real estate projects; from a hotel project in the Caribbean to properties in Cabo San Lucas. To be on top of all aspects of international real estate, he has completed the course work for the Certified International Property Specialist.
Tom started his career in finance by counseling executives of Fortune 500 companies in their personal financial and real estate endeavors. Tom has enjoyed working with many buyers and sellers of real estate in the Boulder and Denver areas and brings a wealth of knowledge regarding all the aspects of real estate. He has had particularly good success helping investors find suitable properties for their portfolios. Tom looks forward to working with the Sotheby clients in assisting them in achieving their goals.
