Richard Christiansen is a 23 year resident of Whistler with 14 years experience as a licensed Realtor at Windermere, Sutton and RE/MAX and managed an Engel & Voelkers office for two years in Spain and Germany. He was an essential contributor, both as an investor and developer in envisioning the growth potential of the Whistler community. In addition he developed 40 acres in Sherwood Park, Edmonton where the community continues to thrive and sold the McKenzie Estate in Pemberton, the biggest farm in the valley for almost 10 Million dollars. As a former resident of North Vancouver, Richard developed the Nye Heritage Landmark in North Vancouver and subdivided the property. He received an award from the Municipality of North Vancouver and the Mayor designated the property as one of the oldest Heritage homes in Vancouver. Before coming to Whistler Richard graduated from The Muenster School of Economics in Muenster Westphalia where he received his BA in Economics and joined an Oil trading company. He managed offices in Hamburg, New York and London as a Managing Director for more than 15 years. Richard is fluent in German and has introduced many European clients to the investment potential and vacation pleasure of living in Whistler and the Sea to Sky corridor. Richard loves great skiing, good sushi and a nice round of golf with his daughter and friend
