As a top producer and D Best Realtor, Lucinda Buford brings over 15 years of extensive market knowledge, negotiation strategy and skillful marketing tactics to her real estate career, resulting in over $24 million in home sales in the last year alone.
"It's all about helping people," says Lucinda. "I ensure my clients' unique wants and needs are met and work diligently to achieve their goals."
It is through this passion to help people find their perfect home that Lucinda continues to raise the bar. By offering the highest level of customer service, and leveraging a powerful network, Lucinda connects people with properties that not only suit their needs but their lifestyle. She's earned a reputation for selling homes at the highest possible price and in record time, and she walks her clients through the entire process every step of the way.
After founding a homebuilding company with her husband in 1998, Lucinda picked up on the critical nuances of new construction and area land values - a tremendous asset in today's fast paced market. That coupled with her extensive volunteer leadership throughout the city were critical springboards into her career with Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty, a leader in Dallas luxury real estate for over 53 years.
In 2009 Lucinda compounded her success by partnering with Tessa Mosteller to create a formula that is tough to beat. "We offer double the services, implement marketing strategies that sell, and our commitment never waivers," says Lucinda. "Tessa's unparalleled drive and passion for the business are the perfect complement to my results-oriented approach."
With a degree in Industrial Psychology from Rhodes College and experience in both retail and corporate training, Lucinda understands people and the importance of communication. Working in diverse groups pursuing high-level goals are the source of her detail-oriented business model. By keeping her finger on the pulse of what's happening in and around Dallas, Lucinda knows when properties are available first - a powerful tool that arms her clients with a clear market advantage.
Lucinda lives happily in Highland Park with her husband and two children and is actively involved in a variety of organizations including Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society (Board of Directors), Heroes for Children, (Advisory Board of Directors), La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas, HPISD, The Hockaday School, Young Men's Service League, National Charity League, and Highland Park United Methodist Church. She enjoys giving back to the city where she works and plays and is proud to call Dallas her home.
