A top-producing agent of Sotheby's International Realty in Montecito and recognized in the top 1% of all 11,000 Sotheby's International Realty agents worldwide, Realtor Janet Caminite specializes in both the purchase and the sale of single-family residences throughout Montecito, Santa Barbara and Goleta, ranch and vacant land, as well as estates in Ventura and oceanfront residences along the Rincon Coastline.
Janet has had a diverse and successful entrepreneurial career spanning more than three decades. She combines her vast experience and professional knowledge with her hands-on personal service approach in representing each and every client. It is her objective to ensure that clients are supported in all ways to meet their real estate goals.
Establishing her real estate career in the greater Los Angeles area with DBL Realtors, acquired by Sotheby's International Realty in 2004, and then continuing in Santa Barbara has afforded her the opportunity to offer to local sellers a very unique marketing plan. This includes exposure through her membership in three MLS (multiple listing) services, including the major markets of Los Angeles, Ventura and Oxnard, and locally in Santa Barbara, as well as targeted advertising in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles and, of course, the international advertising of Sotheby's International Realty.
On a professional level, Janet is a member of the Santa Barbara Board of Realtors, the Santa Barbara Board of Realtors Education Committee, the Grievance Committee of the Santa Barbara Board of Realtors, the Ventura/Oxnard/Carets Multiple Listing Services (MLS), the Santa Barbara Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. In addition to her professional affiliations, she was a 2012 NAWBO-SB Spirit Of Entrepreneurship Top Nominee, is a NAR Certified Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Realtor and is involved with several non-profit organizations as a consultant and volunteer, contributing time and financial support. These include Conservation International, Heal the Ocean, The Institute for Individual and World Peace, The Heartfelt Foundation, the Santa Barbara Food Bank, CASA and Transition House.
