Donna grew up in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania part of a large and extended family with strong ties to the Philadelphia area. After graduating from La Salle University, Donna spent her first summer away and on her own working at the Brotherhood of Thieves on Broad Street, riding her bike to work from an idyllic beach shack in Surfside. That summer sealed her fate and the connections she made to the people and the island of Nantucket remain today. Donna began her career in real estate with the Maury People in 1998. She prides herself on being a conscientious broker for all of her clients, a sharp listener and savvy representative intent on procuring her deals swiftly and with utmost discretion and professionalism. She achieved a personal best in 2006 with the sale of an unlisted property for 21.5 M to a long term Christmas Stroll rental client. Donna prides herself on providing all her buyers with their dream situation while banking on a sound investment. She enjoys a variety of activities including traveling to exotic locales in the off season, music, photography, painting, yoga, and any outdoor activity the island has to offer. Married to Simon Shurey, the Food and Beverage director at Topper's at the Wauwinet.
