Frances Ingraham, an associate broker, joined Heather Croner Real Estate Sotheby's International Realty in 2006 and serves clients throughout New York's Columbia County and surrounding areas. Previously, Fran was a journalist for New York radio stations and a staff writer and society columnist for the Times Union in Albany, Hearst publications and The New York Times. Working from a perspective gained during her education in the fine arts, architecture and interior design, her journalism focused not only on architecture but also on the quality of life in the many counties she serves today. Fran is an active volunteer and lecturer in her community, and her interests include conservation, gracious country living and distinctive architecture. She is past president of the Washington Park Conservancy, chairperson of the Historic Kinderhook Committee, board member of Diamond Opera Theater and chairs numerous fundraising events each year. She has been honored with Hudson Valley Magazine's Five Star Professional award for real estate based on her clients' satisfaction. She earned a bachelor of fine arts degree at the State University of New York at Albany and is a graduate of the New York School of Interior Design. Her interests include photography, polo and four-In-hand driving.
