It was 1496, nine years after the Reconquest of Spain when the local governor of Malaga acting in the name of the Catholic Kings handed over to the hermits Fray Antonio and Fray Marco a house that was owned before by an expelled noble Arabian. They turned it into a Hermitage in the name of Ermita de San Anton, in honour of their saint. Since 1860 the Hacienda has been in private hands and today you can own this spectacular property and be part of its history. The facade of the house and the Hermitage can not be changed since it is officially protected, but it is possible to refurbish the inside of the property.
