I was born and raised in Southern California, I attended Foothill High School, and graduated from California State University, Fullerton. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, with concentration in marketing. I worked for a large developer in Mission Viejo, CA for 7 years implementing marketing strategies for new phases of the development, The Santa Margarita Company. Today there is a thriving city in California called Rancho Santa Margarita, this is the city I helped to create in the late 80's early 90's. I find it hard to believe that I was there in the very beginning! In 1992 I moved to Santa Fe, NM and opened a retail store selling Hot Springs Portable Spas. At the time, I was the only female dealer in the U.S. including internationally as well. I won numerous awards the seven years that I owned (3) stores, Santa Fe, NM, Albuquerque, NM, Austin, TX, including "Dealer of the Year" and the "Outstanding Service" award. In 1999 , it was time to do something different and I pursued my real estate license. "Real estate seems to be a natural blend of my education, marketing and sales experience". From day one here in Austin I have felt at home and decided to continue my real estate career here. I have been consistently recognized as a top producer in the Lake Travis/Greater Austin area.
I have 2 beautiful children, Amy & Matthew and as of December 2011 I also have a wonderful daughter-in-law Melissa. Family is very important to me.
While I have a passion for real estate, I also enjoy competing in equestrian events. I have been riding English, hunter-jumpers for the past 30 years and currently compete in the Adult Jumper division on my Argentine Warmblood, "Hemingway". Equestrian and ranch properties occupy a different place in the real estate market and require an agent with the knowledge and expertise to properly showcase them.
