After graduating with a degree in law from the University of Nottingham, UK, Melanie joined an international city law firm in London where her work was primarily focused in real estate law. After 5 years living in London she was invited to return to her roots and join the Lisbon office of an international law firm based in Sao Paulo, Brasil to deal specifically with english clients investing in the portuguese property market. Born in Toronto, Canada where she frequented the Toronto French School and later completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Toronto. Her personal and professional experience equipped her with the necessary tools to easily adapt to any type of situation as well as the knowhow to efficiently assimilate and meet the needs of her clients. Melanie enjoys spending time with her 1 year old son, husband, family and friends, playing the piano, tennis, horsebackriding and sailing. A big fan of all that is cinema and of her hometown - Oporto where she escapes as often as she can.
