This charming property was built between the 13th and 15th centuries and is known as the San Miquel Castle. Designed originally as a small town, it was used to house the rice pickers and their families during the rainy season. As the waters rose, the castle would be completely surrounded by water. Today´s owners have imaginatively restored part of the castle and have converted it into a functioning hotel with 7 gorgeous suites. Inside the ancient walls and on lower level an enormous open air plaza is surrounded by archways and spacious halls which can be used for banquets and parties. The upper floor has been reformed into living areas and includes several more large rooms. A private chapel is also located on the property.
