The historic castle is located in Nettetal, a charming small town less than 30 minutes away from Düsseldorf, Venlo an Mönchengladbach. Two major airports can easily be reached vie the close by highway. Nestled in a beautifully manicured park featuring a baroque water basin with antique statues, the castle is sorrounded by a water ditch. Back in the days, the ditched served for defense purposes, even though the drawbridge has been replaced with a beautiful stone bridge.

The bridge leads through the main gate into the inner courtyard. On the right side of the gate, there is a small, extremely charming guest house with two bedrooms and a living room. Left of the entrance, in the former stables, there is the castle restaurant, which is currently open to public but can also be used for private purposes. The most beautiful building is the main house directly across the courtyard from the main entrance. The gorgeous historic entree leads to the living room with a stunning open fireplace.
