Brandon Blocker fell in love with Aspen the first moment he saw it in 1981. He knew he had to figure out a way to live here.
First, he graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in Environmental Science, spending his summers as a river rafting guide on the Royal Gorge stretch of the Arkansas River and his winters as a snowboarding instructor in Breckenridge. Then, he embarked upon a career as a television sports broadcaster covering every major sporting event from the World Series to the US Open to NCAA championships.
Throughout all of this, Aspen continued to call him . . . and, eventually, Brandon listened, hanging up his microphone and moving his family to his favorite place on earth.
