Pirates Beach

Pirates’ Beach and Cove, one of Galveston’s early master planned communities, was created by George Mitchell and the Woodlands Corporation in the 1960s. Located eight miles west of 61st Street, the communities combine the scenic beauty of coastal living with the advantages of a major metropolitan area.

Pirates’ Beach, Pirates’ Beach West and Pirates’ Landing are adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico while Pirates’ Cove, Lafitte’s Cove and The Enclave face Galveston Bay.
