Club Golf d'Aro-Mas Nou - is one of the oldest golf courses on the Costa Brava, (Platja d'Aro) it's located in the middle of the Natural Park of "Les Gavarres" 300 m above sea level, with spectacular views of the Costa Brava. The course is surrounded by olive trees, pines, oaks and two large artificial lakes (2,600 m3).

This area of the Costa Brava was voted "Best Golf Destination in 2000" by the IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators).

It is very pleasant because of the variety of holes that there are and the accuracy required, especially when placing the first stroke from the tee.

Designed by architect Ramon Espinosa, it is watered by regenerated water and the course has a great respect for the environment. In 1992 it was recognized as the best European course of the European Association of Architects.
It has hosted the following European Tour tournaments: the Martini Open 1990, the Catalonia Open in 1992 and the Catalonia Ladies Masters 2006.

And all this just 35 minutes from Girona airport, 70 minutes from Barcelona and 120 minutes from Perpignan.
Club Golf d'Aro is an ideal venue for competitions or to enjoy a pleasant, relaxing day. The Golf d'Aro course unites quality and beauty.

It was made softening the slopes so that it isn't a course that tires the player out. The diversity of the holes makes the golf course very enjoyable. The design requires great accuracy on behalf of the golfer, especially when placing the ball from the starting tee.

The greens are, mostly, pretty large and fast. The more complex holes, both by design and by orography are 6, 14 and 15.
From the tee of hole 15 there is probably the best view of the entire complex: with sea views from the cape of Begur to Tossa de Mar. It is a spectacular hole because of the high tee. A large lake defends the ball falling precision.
Although most of the time precision and accuracy are required from the tee, the golf course is also very attractive for amateurs.

Plane: 100km from Barcelona Airport, 100 km from Perpignan Airport and 25 km from Girona Airport.
Automobiles: AP7 to exit 7, direction Snt Feliu de Guíxols then Platja d’Aro, exit Platja d’Aro north.  Signs to Mas Nou.
