Host to the U.S Open qualifier and The Rolex-National NCAA match play team championships, this Ron Garl designed course is fashioned after the true spirit of golf.
In February 1995, Indian River Club was designated an Audubon Signature Sanctuary by Audubon International. It was third in the world to receive this coveted status. The course borders a 13 acre scrub jay preserve and once a month there is a birdwatching group that has spotted over 70 different species of animals including eagles, woodstork, sandhill cranes, otters, fox, alligators, and gopher tortoises.
Traditions of family and respect for nature are the founding principles for this low-density, high quality golf club community. Casual elegance best describes the heart and soul of the Indian River Club lifestyle. Although graced with a world-class golf course, the overall mood here is quite relaxing. Residents embrace the intimate and charming low-country-style clubhouse as their home away from home.
