Tara Golf and Country Club offers an 18-hole championship course, originally designed by golf course architect Ted McAnlis, and redesigned in 2009 by Ron Garl. The 72-par layout measures 6,845 from the longest tees and sports a 72.8 course rating and a 136 slope rating on Bermuda grass. The fast greens and challenging holes over scenic water hazards are among the acclaimed features of the course.
The club amenities include putting greens and a driving range. The club also hosts regular league tourneys and special events for golfers of all ability levels.
