Rancho Santa Fe, California
The Crosby at Rancho Santa Fe
The Crosby Club takes its inspiration from Bing Crosby, who treasured Rancho Santa Fe as a retreat from the world and a place to enjoy his friends and family. Since purchasing one of the original Village adobe homes, Crosby’s influence has been felt throughout the community. His vision for the community is communicated through the Crosby Club.
The hallmark of the Crosby Golf Course is its numerous elevation changes. Throughout the course, tee boxes are set far above the greens, so golfers can obtain a lofty view of the entire hole and much of the course. Each hole possesses its own beauty and, despite the elevation changes, the fairways are plentiful. The Rancho Santa Fe setting provides a tranquil atmosphere on this challenging, yet beautiful course.
Throughout the year, the Crosby hosts several charity golf events for local organizations. The Crosby has also been named to Travel & Leisure Golf Magazine’s 100 Best Golf Communities and was one of the Top 25 private golf shops in the country in Golf World and Golf Digest, as well as one of America’s Top 100 Premier Properties by Links Magazine.

Challenging Holes:
#11- Judge distance wisely. A canyon runs both in front of and behind the green, in addition to bunkers in the back. Par is a good score here.
#13- According to The Crosby, one of the most demanding par 3s in San Diego County. A good tee shot is a must and must stay left-center.
Picturesque Holes:
The 8th hole features a three-tiered green built into natural rock formations, fronted by a ravine full of native chaparral. The 11th hole features striking red rocks and an abandoned mine shaft next to a small green.
