Every phase of her life helped build the foundation for Megan’s real estate career. Having graduated magna cum laude from William Patterson College with degrees in sociology and economics, she headed for the banking world. Sociology had equipped her for the marketplace’s diversity. Positions at City Savings Bank and Commerce Bank allowed for applying the economics she studied to accounting, finance and loan processing.
But Megan’s passion for sales had arrived much earlier. When her dad, a military officer, retired, he opened a car dealership beginning with one car. Megan worked alongside her dad, washing cars herself, and observing firsthand the value of honesty in business. The dealership grew and flourished. Megan recalls enthusiastically, “Selling cars was a part of me and I was so alive in that process.”
