Jeanne H. Bucknam

Jeanne Hyde Bucknam joined Sotheby's International Realty in 2003. She partnered exclusively with Nikki Field and The Field Team as the Uptown/Downtown Specialist, one of the industry's top producers, which consistently ranks among the global agency’s top producing teams having sold over $4 billion in residential sales. The Field Team ranked as the #1 New York City Sales Team at Sotheby’s International Realty for the past 16 years. Jeanne has gained the expert knowledge and experience needed to navigate and negotiate in the highly competitive Manhattan real estate market and she advises clients on all aspects of the sales process for new developments, cooperatives, condominiums, and townhouses. She educates clients on current market conditions and excels as an advisor on where to achieve maximum value and return. Through the Sotheby’s International Realty global network, she adeptly connects clients with top experts to manage their real estate portfolios worldwide.

Jeanne comes to Sotheby's International Realty from Charleston, SC and is from a multi-generational real estate family. Her mother is a top producer selling real estate in Charleston, SC. Her great-grandfather, C. Bissell Jenkins, Jr. and great-great-grandfather, C. Bissell Jenkins, had an office in lower Manhattan in the early 1900s, and were both instrumental in many areas of development in historic downtown Charleston and surrounding areas. Jeanne graduated from Ashley Hall School and the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina with a degree in marketing/management. She has also studied interior design and has a special interest in historic preservation. Prior to moving to Manhattan, Jeanne lived in Jackson Hole, WY, working for the Art Association.

Jeanne possesses strong values and has become known throughout the industry for working as an energetic professional with discretion, integrity, honesty, and effectiveness. She lived in the West Village for 14 years and is on the founding Board of Directors of Abingdon Square Conservancy. She relocated to the Upper East Side and is involved in several organizations throughout New York City.
