Gordon T. Roberts

A dedicated New Yorker for 38 years, Gordon Roberts specializes in the sale of Manhattan co-ops, condominiums, townhouses, and investment properties.

Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty as a Global Real Estate Advisor, Gordon was a Managing Director at another Manhattan firm. Among other notable accomplishments over a 12-year tenure, he was solely responsible for the successful "over-ask" sale of Central Park-facing ten room apartment at 1060 Fifth Avenue for $21.5 million dollars.

Creative, extensively traveled, and a lover of international culture and diversity, Gordon moved to Manhattan after studying in London. As a columnist for British Vogue, he met Tiffany Design Director Van Day Truex, was offered a job, and quickly moved through the ranks to become a product developer, merchandise manager, and fine jewelry buyer. He applied those same skills at other luxury brands such as Bulgari and Asprey. During the mid-90s, Gordon was employed by Chanel, Inc. with responsibilities here and abroad.

Gordon has always catered to an astute and discerning customer base. He has absorbed and practiced the proven philosophies of some of the most legendary merchants in the business and has succeeded in an arena where high-quality product, elegant presentation, superior customer service, and absolute discretion are the gold standard.

A member of the Real Estate Board of New York and certified as a New York Residential Specialist, Gordon is well-versed in the Upper East Side where he lived for 25 years. He also knows Manhattan at large, particularly downtown, and takes a professional birds-eye of the market. As a former homeowner in East Hampton and Westchester, his outlook extends beyond the usual boundaries.
