With 25 years of experience selling real estate on Cape Cod, she is dedicated to working with buyers and sellers to meet their goals. As a native to Osterville, she has seen the transformations in Osterville and the surrounding villages that make them truly special. Colleen lives in Barnstable Village with her two children and has found that raising a family on Cape Cod has brought her full circle in her appreciation of Cape Cod and its many treasures, whether a boat ride on North Bay or a peaceful winter walk on Millway Beach.
Colleen started her real estate career in 1994 when her family opened Unique Real Estate in Centerville. She quickly earned her broker’s license and became the designated realtor in charge of all marketing and sales. In 2011, Unique Real Estate closed its doors, and she found a new home at Sotheby’s International Realty. She quickly earned the top spot in the Top 1,000 sales associates in the Anywhere Real Estate, Inc. network in the fourth quarter of 2011 and continues to be a top producer for Sotheby’s International Realty.
As a local Cape Codder, Colleen graduated from Barnstable High School and is proud to say that the Barnstable High School’s football field is named in honor of her grandfather, Leo Shields. Colleen graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. Colleen is a member of the Cape Cod and Island Multiple Listing Service, the National Association of Realtors, and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors. She also has a strong background in residential real estate appraisals.
Colleen enjoys giving back to the community. She volunteers for the Christmas Military Toy Drive, sponsors a team run for cancer drive for the Falmouth Road Race, the Cancer Walk in Barnstable Village, and volunteers to coach the Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School tennis team, which is extremely rewarding. She loves making a difference.
