Born in Texas, Wayo migrated with his parents, a high-end homebuilder and an interior designer, to Pacific Palisades, California. The family eventually moved back to Texas, but the area had made an impression on Wayo. After attending Texas Christian University and building a business in Fort Worth, Texas, Wayo could not avoid his inevitable move back to the Palisades.

He began his career in real estate at the age of 19 while enrolled at the university, deciding to use his winter break from school to begin working on acquiring his real estate license. Within two years he was licensed as a broker and had begun building a brokerage as well as a business in developing properties around the Texas Christian University campus.

After finishing his final development deal, Wayo decided it was time to move back to the Pacific Palisades, determining Sotheby's International Realty was an impeccable fit.

Growing up around the industry has given Wayo a keen eye for quality. Combined with his experience as a broker negotiating single family sales, multifamily deals, zoning cases and property management of multiple rental properties, Wayo has a diverse and overarching understanding of real estate in eight years of practice. He adheres to a strict and disciplined orientation to his business. Honesty, discretion and due diligence are the paramount components of his overall philosophy to bring a service of pure excellence to his clients. He has also undergone training as a negotiator and has received the Certified Negotiation Expert designation to facilitate his clients achieving the best possible deal.
