Fleur Howgill

Fleur started her career almost 20 years ago in London. She specializes in 'Castles in All Shapes and Sizes'; bringing her own vivacious character and strong client focus to Washington DC's white hot marketplace. Priding herself on exceptional customer service and making the process fun, Fleur takes the stress out of house buying and selling, ensuring a fast and smooth transaction.

Originally from Devon in the UK, she grew up in one of the most beautiful and tranquil parts of the country, she was very fortunate to be able to play around with both horses and sailing boats. In 2000, Fleur fell into Realty; after several years working in the Television Broadcasting industry, travelling the country working on a main stream program, meeting new people from all walks of life. This helped mold Fleur into the woman she is now.

Fleur worked for some of the best Estate Agents in London, focusing on the high end, in some of the most salubrious areas of London, Chelsea, Chiswick, Islington, Mayfair and Kensington. When Fleur and her husband David got together they decided to head back home, to the South West. Staying with property, Fleur worked on selling Fine Homes, Equestrian and agricultural properties. Every day presented a new challenge, one day you would be walking around a stately manor house in heels, next walking the fields with wellies on (gum boots). 'I loved it!” When the recession hit in 2008 Fleur was forced to change tactics. She moved to the coast with the focus on selling coastal properties, which is part of London’s playground. Sitting on a beach waiting for clients with ice creams in hand, it was a hard life but someone had to do it.

In 2011, Fleur followed her husband to Washington DC, and has never looked back. Working as a Realtor in America is slightly different than the UK, luckily Fleur joined the TTR Sotheby’s International Realty family which helped her transition into the American lifestyle. This helped her start and grow her business. Fleur is now Vice President and a top producer in Washington DC due a lot of hard work and perseverance.

Fleur and her husband David, along with their pooch Pisco, live on Capitol Hill. They love being part of this beautiful neighborhood, and beautiful way of life. Pisco, not your average dog, is a rather large mastiff and has a tendency to stop pedestrians for belly rubs. When Fleur and David are not working or hosting events, they love travelling around the world, taking in the culture, as well as the delicious food and fine wines.
