Ellen Camacho

Ellen Camacho is the Managing Broker of Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty in South Lake Tahoe, California and Zephyr Cove, Nevada. Ellen is extremely knowledgeable, respected and highly involved in the real estate community. She carries the professional tone and positive character that Sierra Sotheby's International Realty values as a company.
Ellen has stayed active with the South Tahoe Association of Realtors and served as 2016 President of the Board and was honored by her association as the 2012 Rookie of the Year, the 2014 Community Service Award, 2015 Distinguished Realtor Award and was the 2016 Realtor of the Year. She has served on the STAR MLS Committee since 2015 and Grievance Committee since 2017.
Camacho's resume is extended through active involvement with the California Association of Realtors.'Serving as a CAR Director for 5 years awarded me the opportunity obtain valuable information from our state association.,' she explains. 'I served on Membership and Forum on Forms for 5 years, 2017 Vice Chair and 2018 Chair of Credentials for CAR.’ Ellen believes strongly in continuing education and the importance of staying on top of current trends. She holds the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI), Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), ePRO, and South Tahoe Area Residential Specialist (STAR). She was elected to be the 2022 Lake Tahoe Director for Sierra Nevada Realtors and has served on the Risk Reduction Sub Committee for Northern Nevada Region MLS since 2018.
Ellen believes in giving back to the community of South Lake Tahoe. She has been a member of Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe since 2006, serving as President of the Club in 2010. She has been on the Parish Council of St. Theresa Catholic Church since 2008 and serves as the Secretary for the Council. In her spare time, she loves hiking and biking. She has been married to Paul since 1987 and have 2 children.
