Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Third-generation Texas Realtor Irby Rozelle loves working with buyers and sellers. In a career spanning over 36 years, Irby has been a successful broker/owner of high-end residential real estate firms and a commercial brokerage. However, selling remains his first love. Joining Martha Turner Properties, now Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, as a broker-associate, Irby achieved membership in the Circle of Excellence during his first year with the company.
A wealth of experience makes Irby an invaluable resource for his clients and fellow Realtors. He is often asked what, in his opinion, are the qualities that make a successful Realtor. According to Irby, “Successful Realtors have several common denominators: Persistence not pushiness; appropriate time management; continuing education; and listings, listings listings – they are listing agents.”
Irby knows that informed buyers and sellers make the best decisions. His goal is to keep his clients informed and abreast of trends in the marketplace using up-to-date and targeted market statistics. Irby is bullish on real estate as a sound investment choice now and for the future.
There have been many changes in the real estate industry since Irby began his career and he points to the internet as the most obvious and powerful. “Its impact is diverse and influences every aspect of our business,” he states. “However, real estate remains very much a ‘people’ business and we must never stop forging and cultivating personal relationships with our clients and fellow Realtors.”
Irby received a BBA in economics from Southern Methodist University. He and his wife Anne have been married for more than 35 years and have two grown children and three grandchildren.
