Local Expertise. Global Connections.
My decision to join Vista Sotheby’s International Realty (Vista SIR) is based on the value added provided by Vista SIR’s: gleaming reputation; extensive print, digital and social media marketing resources; emphasis in growing market share through comprehensive training programs; and the professionalism of the seasoned administration and sales support personnel.
Having lived in the South Bay for 32 years I see familiar faces everywhere I go. I love being part of a diverse and thriving community that enriches the lives of its’ denizens. I enjoy helping families move into our vibrant community and assisting current residences through transitional life events that require changes to their real assets.
My current marketing initiative is directed toward a market segment that are current homeowners aged 50-75 transitioning into retirement or part-time employment in Gardena, Harbor City and Lomita. Relevant real estate trends for this market segment are relocation, downsizing and upsizing. Relocation is desirable to recipients of fixed incomes wishing to transition to States with beneficial tax profiles (Clients are advised to consult a tax advisor). Downsizing applies to empty nesters with adult children converting larger family orientated real estate assets into smaller more manageable assets for reasons that range from reducing the burden of maintenance and upkeep of their home or conversion of unrealized capital gains. Upsizing for my particular market segment refers to the trend towards multi-generational family homes where a family unit is expanded to include parents their adult children and grandchildren.
My marketing focus on transitional life milestones originates from my background in financial services. I received extensive Fortune 500 training in financial sales, specifically needs based selling. Needs based sales involves learning about a client’s needs and goals; then providing products and services that assist in their achieving said needs and goals. Earning a living is great but helping people purchase and manage what is typically their most important asset makes for a rewarding career.
I firmly believe in social responsibility and spend weekends working with community non-profits and non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) impacting homelessness, K-12 education and senior citizen care. The non-profits/NGOs I support are committed to the aforementioned issues within the South Bay and Los Angeles Metro areas.
A fun fact about me is that I am an animal advocate and I rescue dogs. Though I’ve mostly returnedstray dogs to their owners, on occasion I help find forever homes for abandoned or abused dogs through fostering, training and facilitating hygiene/veterinary services. I have a dent on the hood of my car when I had make a very dignified tactical retreat from a skeptical Chihuahua which was possibly 1/16thDoberman.
