Ashley Banks is Senior Vice President and Region Manager in the Silicon Valley offices of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty. She brings years of experience, deep expertise in complex transactions, and an engaging management style to this position. She aims to nourish the unique collaborative environment that began when the offices were under the Dreyfus Properties brand, which Ashley helped build, working closely with owner Michael Dreyfus. She moved to management after working for seven years on a sales team with Michael Dreyfus. Their team consistently sold over $100 million in real estate per year, making them top producers in the brokerage and in the local area.
Transitioning from the sales side of real estate, Ashley has extensive experience working with agents, buyers and sellers. She has participated in all aspects of the sales process including origination, listing preparation, marketing, negotiations, client communication and escrow coordination. This experience has given her an advantage in management, as she deeply understands both the transaction process and what it takes to be a successful agent.

Prior to working in real estate, Ashley worked in high-tech marketing for several companies in Silicon Valley, where she has lived since 1996. Before moving to the Valley, she lived in Los Angeles and worked in television production. Ashley grew up in Monterey, California. Locally, she has lived in Palo Alto, San Carlos, San Mateo and now lives in the University Heights area of Menlo Park with her two daughters.
Ashley manages the agents and staff in the offices located in Menlo Park, Woodside, Palo Alto, Los Altos and Los Gatos.
