Real Estate Professional in Charlottesville, Virginia United States

Morgan Cruthirds was born and raised in Houston, Texas, but has been in Charlottesville for over a decade. His dynamic career has included time as an infantry Marine, US History teacher, Naval Reserve Intelligence Officer, and Program Manager for a key Army Intel program. Morgan draws on these experiences in his work as a real estate agent, bringing an ability to build relationships and think strategically to meet the needs of his clients. His extensive military service has honed his ability to meet objectives even in the most challenging circumstances.

Over the course of his life, Morgan has lived in Texas, California, and Virginia, as well as the Philippines and the Middle East, and he has traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. He graduated from Tarleton State University, a small-town school centered on a vibrant agricultural and ranching community, with a B.A. in History. These broad and varying experiences give Morgan a unique global perspective and a wide cultural aperture.

After completing 5 tours to Iraq and Afghanistan and retiring from the Naval Reserve, he can now fully enjoy his community, friends, and most importantly his family. An avid cyclist, Morgan serves on the board of the Charlottesville Area Mountain Bike Club and is a former Vice President of Fortuna Cycling.  He’s an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, biking, running, hiking and fishing throughout Central Virginia. Morgan, his wife Shannon, and their two kids live in the friendly, walkable Belmont neighborhood close to Downtown Belmont and the historic Downtown Mall.
