Marian Lloyd chose real estate as a career when her broker friend encouraged her to get her license and work for her friend's real estate company. Marian is married with two children and one grandchild. She enjoys swimming, water aerobics, traveling and walking.

"Experience. Having lived in the South Bay for more than 35 years and volunteered in my children's schools, sports programs and community programs, I feel like my clients get the best knowledge of the area."

How do you give back to your community?
"I donate monthly to Habitat for Humanity; volunteer at all of the elections; adopt a family at Christmas through Cheer for Children; support Yarn Angels; and make cookies for Wounded Warriors Beach Days at Camp Pendleton."

"The climate is the best anywhere. They also love the proximity to the beaches, the desert and the mountains, as well as the excellent schools."

"Helping people go through the process of finding the right home."

"The new and diverse people I meet all the time."
