Kathy received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1968. After 9 years as an Auditor for the largest CPA firm in the world, and a Financial Systems Analyst for 2 Fortune 500 companies, she made a career change into Real Estate. She visited the Melbourne area in 1980, loved it, and immediately relocated here to the Space Coast to continue her career in real estate sales (a consistent multi-million dollar producer), management/training, and investment. Her broad experience has enabled Kathy to become a valuable counselor and marketing specialist to her clients and customers. A low stress/high results approach has brought past customers and referrals back, time and again.
Kathy is a numbers person, so you won't have any money surprises when you put your trust in her. You can probably relate to one or more of her life experiences, below. Be sure to let her know! Kathy is a proud parent of a wonderful son, an artist and graphic designer, living here in Brevard County. Kathy was born and raised in Iowa, near her grandparents' farm, where her family spent many memorable holidays. Her great grandfather taught Kathy to play the violin, and told many great stories about migrating to the Midwest in a covered wagon. Yes, really! Kathy, her parents, and 3 younger siblings lived comfortably in a very small town, in a 19th century home, with one bathroom. Real estate really is dynamic, isn't it? She enjoyed sports (especially basketball, studied piano, singing, and drama.
She baby sat for spending money, making $.25 to $.50 an hour. Can you believe that? She played a huge pipe organ at church, and sang at lots of weddings and school productions. Her favorite subjects in school were Geometry and Physics.
Kathy lived in St. Louis, Indianapolis, Seattle, Atlanta, and other small cities and towns across America. Hobbies have included competition ballroom dancing, motorcycling, quilting, dressmaking, tennis, golf, softball, volleyball, painting, and arts and crafts of all kinds. While in Huntsville, Alabama, she even joined the police department, to become a school crossing guard, in full uniform, at a very dangerous intersection that no one else wanted to tackle. She has been an avid and highly recognized volunteer, at her son's schools, has entertained the elderly and handicapped, and organized fund-raisers for various non-profits.
