Local Expertise. Global Connections.
As a third-generation native of Newport, Paul gives buyers and sellers a unique perspective of life on Aquidneck Island. A graduate of Providence College, he followed up his education spending two years in Ghana, West Africa, as a Peace Corps volunteer. A Realtor® since 1988 and co-owner of Gustave White since 2000, Paul seeks to be the best advocate for his clients and to deal with issues in a calm and rational manner. Licensed in Rhode Island as well as both Connecticut and Massachusetts, he holds Certified Residential Broker (CRB), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designations, and is an appraiser and licensed auctioneer. Paul is very active with the REALTOR® community, and has served as president at both the local and state levels. One highlight of his real estate career, and an example of his versatility, was having both the least and the most expensive sales in Newport in one year. Paul is continually active in numerous local charities and boards, most recently sitting on the boards of the Newport Hospital Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of Newport County. Married with five children, family is at the center of Paul's life, and you'll often see the entire clan in the winter playing hockey on Newport's Lily Pond. Paul also enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and platform/paddle tennis.
