Kevin MacDonald is proof that working in the insurance industry is anything but boring. After serving in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam, MacDonald began his insurance career as a claims manager, investigating claims throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware in areas of general liability, legal liability, auto liability, professional liability and subrogation. His insurance expertise went even deeper as he formed his own company that, as third-party administrators, handled an array of specialty products within the insurance industry. His company’s clients ranged from 86 amusement parks across the U.S. to professional and college sports interests. He traveled world-wide to complete audits for and review treaty reinsurance coverage. During this time, MacDonald completed various training with underwriters at Lloyd’s of London. These years of experience watching out for clients’ interests and giving them the best professional advice serves MacDonald well in his role as a realtor. In addition to his professional work experience, MacDonald is a veteran of several major, successful renovations of historical houses in Bucks County. This knowledge of homes from their basements to their attics, combined with his in-depth knowledge of the Bucks County real-estate market, make him a perfect addition to Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty’s New Hope real-estate office. In his free time, MacDonald is a dedicated golfer. He is a founding member of Lookaway Golf Club in Buckingham, Pa. He and his family reside in Carversville, Bucks County, Pa.
