Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Educated in New York City, Switzerland, and France, Bundles lives in Middleburg, Virginia, where her family has resided for many generations. Such deep roots and commitment to the community resulted in her election to the Middleburg Town Council, where she served for 12 years, and was recently appointed by the Town Council to serve on Middleburg’s Board and Zoning Appeals. Bundles also served as President of the Middleburg Community Center, and she currently chairs their Legacy Committee. In addition, she is Vice Chair of the Blair House Restoration Fund, The President’s Guest House in Washington, D.C., and Advisory Director of the acclaimed National Sporting Library and Museum in Middleburg. This extraordinary record of civic commitment includes a passionate advocacy for open space and land preservation, which naturally complements her valued role as the Honorary Secretary of the Orange County Hounds.
Bundles' professional background started in French-speaking Geneva in the banking business before continuing to New York where she worked at Tiffany’s for seven years as the company’s diamond buyer. From New York, she went on to Washington, D.C., where she was a Reagan Presidential Appointee in the U.S. Department of State’s office of protocol. Known as “Bunny” in the State Department, she coordinated all State and Official visits made by kings, presidents, and prime ministers. During that period, she was awarded the Distinguished Honor Award by Secretary Shultz and then became Deputy Chief of Protocol.
After assisting the Saudi Ambassador and then Mrs. George H.W. Bush on special assignments, Bundles worked as the Special Assistant to Shaikh Saud Nasir Al-Sabah of Kuwait for 22 years, first at the embassy in Washington and then privately when he returned to Kuwait as Minister of Information and later Minister of Oil. During her time with the Kuwaitis, she assisted with many of the ruling family’s real estate purchases and sales in Washington and Maryland.
Her career in real estate began 18 years ago. Living abroad, working with diplomats, and serving in presidential and local politics has helped Bundles become a careful, trusted, and considerate agent with clients from around the globe, as well as with neighbors right next door.
