Nan Lodor was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the third generation of a well known and highly successful business family. In early college years Nan was encouraged by advisors and friends alike to leave the comfort of that family cocoon and venture out to create her own destiny. Soon, newly married with a husband stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Nan and Mike settled in Alexandria to enjoy the excitement of the nation's capital, and eventually moving on to Annapolis, where they made their home and raised a family. A history buff, volunteering with Historic Annapolis was a natural, leading Nan to Children's Theater, then the Steering Committee for Maryland Hall of the Arts, and then five years on the Commission for the established Maryland Hall for the performing Arts. Meanwhile the field of Real Estate brought Nan back to the business of buying and selling, (as well as collecting.) Real Estate had become a true passion. So, the question became for Nan, 'Why not make a career of helping others satisfy their dreams, too?' The mid 80's found Nan Managing at Merrill Lynch Realty, and the early 90's managing for Prudential Preferred Properties. However, by the mid-90's Nan once again had a profound desire to work directly with the public, assisting in the search for dream homes became irresistible, so she returned to Real Estate Sales full time, which she enjoys to this day. Now, joined over the past decade by her son, M. Scott Lodor, who has a natural instinct for architecture, design and good construction, Nan and Scott make an unbeatable pair.
