Theresa Strait

Theresa Strait is a founding member of Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty. She specializes in the north Atlanta area, specifically in the suburbs of Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Roswell and Woodstock. Theresa is a Top Performer with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty and is both a luxury home listing agent and an Accredited Buyers Representative. Additionally, Theresa helps stage of all of her listings, as she has a background in staging and design.

For the past three years, Theresa has spent part of her time working onsite with Longleaf Woodstock, an active adult community with 86 home sites. This experience has afforded her the opportunity to list and sell homes for customers desiring a lifestyle change. She is now skilled in the field of 'right-sizing' for clients seeking to move from their larger homes with outdated floor plans to a home designed for this new stage of life. It has been rewarding for Theresa to add this expertise to her skill set.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Theresa's first career was in advertising, where she was a senior media buyer for J. Walter Thompson. Responsible for negotiating the best rates for television, radio and print advertising for her clients, Theresa has used the skills acquired at JWT in her real estate career, as well. The ability to negotiate the best possible deal for her buyers and sellers is a duty Theresa takes seriously for each and every client.

In her spare time, Theresa likes to visit her son and daughter-in-law in Virginia Beach - her son is a Navy pilot and can't get back to Atlanta often. Theresa also loves to spend time with her daughter who is a creative director living in Wellington, Floridia. Theresa enjoys tennis, live music events, yoga, sporting events and interior design.
